SERVICE Engineer required to provide Customer SERVICE to The VOX Telecom LTD Group
You will be required to do Dialup Support, Email Support, ADSL Support and deliver SERVICE to our wide range of existing customers on any of our existing products.

Job Description:
A vacancy exists at a well established, leading national telecommunication and Internet Company. Reporting directly to the Head of Products, the successful candidate will be based in Pretoria and will be responsible for New Product

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Vendor liaison:
  • Manage vendor relationships and processes
  • Provide reports and target tracking information as required
  • Drive vendor interaction
  • Engage with vendors
  • Understand and implement vendor strategy, procedure and policies
  • Understand vendor contracting

Manage the profitability of products
  • Ensure all resources are aligned to achieve sales targets

Training
  • Stay constantly up to date with industry developments
  • Ensure internal staff as well as sales channels are well trained – Liaise with training department
  • Submit monthly product training reports to Sales & Marketing Director
  • Prepare marketing plans in co-operation with marketing department as required
  • Implement product marketing plans and vendor strategies
  • Disseminate product information

Revenue
  • Identify new business opportunities
  • Be responsible for the GSM product set’s brands equity within the company and consumer space
  • Grow market share

Logistical
  • Understand processes and assist in smoothing and resolving issues
  • Manage product specifications, pricing, costing and procedures

REQUIREMENTS
  • Minimum of 5 years GSM industry experience specifically in sales and channel distribution
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal divisions and 3rd parties
  • Experience in channel development
  • Ability to develop and apply basic procedural processes and concepts
  • Previous experience in Internet or telephony products and systems advantageous
  • Formal technical and/or project management qualifications advantageous
  • Technical IT experience advantageous
  • High level understanding of IT and or telephony equipment/systems and integration thereof
